Botanicals are the wild of living things. The phenomenon that in natural form is uncontrollable.I seek to capture this wildness in paintings and collages inspired by Flora and their Invisible essence. The knowledge of life manifested in plant form with its complex and clear functionality among nature. The endless vibrancy of colors and shapes that capture my curiosity and awe with its marvelous beauty of patterns and balance represented in vegetation. This series of bright paintings in vellum are the least tamed work I engage in. One hand gesture on paper is the genesis of a distilled substance, Inspired by a flower, mushroom or cacti; that like a ‘spirit’ it is fermented to its truest form. Once imprinted, the map of its existence deliberately surges and plays with the essence of the plant and all that surrounds its world..
